This article contains spoilers for Selling Sunset season 7.
Selling Sunset season 8 has been much-awaited, and it's finally dropping this week.
And we've got a feeling it might be the most dramatic season yet – with just days until season 8 airs, there's been some serious drama unfolding on social media.
Over the weekend, both Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani took to their Instagram Stories to call out drama between Nicole Young and Emma Hernan, even shading the show's production team for their role in it.

“Someone needs to take my phone bc 🤬😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬,” Chrishell posted. “Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??”
She added that she'd “NEVER” work on a show with Nicole again and even called out production. Will this mean that Chrishell will quit Selling Sunset, though?
“Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE,” Chrishell continued, adding, "@done_and_done_productions and you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”
Chelsea tagged Nicole directly, revealing Nicole had started a rumour about Emma, posting: “@itsnicoleyoung you are the most diabolical piece of 🗑️ I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. OK, let’s see how this works out for you…”
She also criticised Selling Sunset's production team, accusing them of “spreading lies for views is so damaging”— and of homophobic and transphobic behaviour from several cast members.

Nicole hit back about Emma's behaviour, suggesting she was involved in an extramarital affair, posting: “Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions. Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife’s best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumor. And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of all marriages.”
Both Chrishell and Chelsea responded with even more support and love for Emma, with Chrishell posting pics of them out together with the caption: “Love these girls so much! The days of us being afraid of lies being told are over. We have receipts and voices”.

Chelsea posted a pic of her and Emma echoing her support in the caption: “protecting HER at all costs”. BIG STATEMENT.
Chrishell didn't hold back, commenting: “HOW DO I LIKE THIS 5 MILLION TIMES?!?!!! Love you both so much. Of course she tried to ruin you in a sneak attack bc she would have been shown to be a LIAR AGAIN if given the chance to speak on it. What a weasel.”

So is it an extramarital affair or a disgusting lie? We will need to wait to find out. What else do we know about Selling Sunset season 8? Here's everything we know so far.
Selling Sunset season 8 release date
The new season will drop on Netflix on Friday 6 September.
Who will be in the cast of Selling Sunset season 8?
Though Netflix is yet to confirm season 8, if we were to get a new series we'd expect to see appearances from these familiar faces:
- Jason Oppenheim
- Brett Oppenheim
- Mary Fitzgerald
- Chrishell Stause
- Amanza Smith
- Emma Hernan
- Chelsea Lazkani
- Nicole Young
- Bre Tiesi
Who won't return for season 8?
Heather Rae El Moussa was absent from the the promotional poster for season 7 and had a notably reduced role given her maternity leave, so it's TBC whether we'll see her in a potential season 8.
Previously, the new mum had told E! News: “Season seven is filming right now, but I've been off [on] maternity leave and I've been excited to get back to work, and so far I have not been called back. It's been a little frustrating. So [I'm] not sure what's been going on”.
A castmate used the wrong pronouns for G Flip.

What will happen in Selling Sunset season 8?
Needless to say, we can always count on the Selling Sunset agents to show us around some insane real estate and serve up some extra outfits along the way. Though season 7 definitely set us up for a fresh batch of storylines and we need answers.
One of the biggest clashes that we didn't see coming was between Amanza and Chrishell after Emma and Crishell ditched a group dinner in Cabo because Marie-Lou and Nicole would be there.
Given that Mary and Romain had made the effort to travel down just days after Mary had suffered a miscarriage, Amanza called Chrishell out for skipping, leaving her a video message that then led to Chrishell firing Amanza from a job at G-Flip's studio.
Despite various attempts to reconcile things, their relationship remained strained through season 7, but we're missing the days of this dynamic duo so are really hoping they can still smooth things over.
Season 7 also saw the continued tension between Bre, Chelsea and Cassandra reach an unexpected climax after Bre seemingly reached her breaking point with the pair and left The O Group's launch party in frustration.
It feels like things between the three are well beyond repair, but what does this mean for Bre's future with the brokerage?
A key focus of the most recent season was also around the expansion of The Oppenheim Group to Cabo, which could make for a suitably glamorous backdrop for a new series.
Is there a trailer for Selling Sunset season 8?
Watch the trailer for the upcoming season below. It looks at Bre's potential return, as well as Chelsea Lazkani's divorce and the tragic demise of Mary and Jason's dog. Drama everywhere.
